The BSS is updating its membership recruiting leaflet and would like a
striking picture for the front page. We are looking for a photograph, in
portrait orientation, of a single plant or a small group of plants that are
characteristic of the Scottish flora. We cannot use the Scots primrose
(Primula scotica) because that has already been used as an emblem by

Plant Ecology and Diversity is expecting a first impact factor of 1.8, which is a high rating for a new Journal title. This is good news for the Society and for those who choose to publish in our journal.

Student Prize 2010
