AGM followed by lecture from Dr Chris Page, University of Exeter, Araucarian, Archeosarians and coniferous pseudoskeletons.
Chris Page is a former researcher at University of Edinburgh/Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, his research interests include: Biodiversity, taxonomy, forests, global forest sustainability, palaeobiology, plant biological evolution and conservation. Araucarian are earliest conifers in geological history, the best know of which is the Monkey-puzzle Tree (Araucaria araucana), come and find out more.
Tea will be available from 5.00 p.m.
