BSBI/BSS Exhibition Meeting

Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh

Saturday, 1 November, 2014 - 08:45 - 18:00

Everyone with an interest in Scottish botany, BSBI and BSS members, family and friends are very welcome to participate in the BSBI/BSS Scottish Annual Meeting. There is a full programme of interesting exhibits and talks for everyone to enjoy. Our main speaker is Professor Jonathan Silvertown, who will give a talk entitled The crowd and the cloud: reinventing natural history.

As well as our regular features such as the Identification Helpdesk, the Photographic competition and Summerfield Books there will be a number of activities such as herbarium tours and mini-workshops.

A £5 not-for-profit fee will be charged to cover organisation costs, speakers' expenses and teas and coffees. This will be collected at registration on the day.

The excellent RBGE staff canteen will be open at lunchtime offering a wide menu at staff-discounted prices.

For further information and to book the evening meal, please download this flyer, or you can pay for the dinner on line here. There is also a MS Word booking form here.
